Over a year ago, I acquired and painted the Warcry core box, which was a cornucopia of interesting miniatures and beautiful terrain. I even delighted in the painting another warband, the Corvus Cabal, which I portrayed in this blog. Alas, with COVID isolation, I failed to ever play the game and these miniatures have been sitting in the protected darkness of their storage boxes, hoping to ever see the field of glory.
Enters the Dogs of Warcry podcast, which I stumbled upon while looking for a new listen during my workouts. This excellent podcast (https://www.themortalrealms.com/dogs-of-warcry ) lit my WArcry fire anew and send me back toward the Eightpoints, on a collision path with my first ever Warcry game and the painting of many a new warband currently laying within my pile of pride (it might as well be as shame is such a negative feeling).
