Well, here comes 2021, which I hope will be a year of peace, quiet and rejuvenation. It did not start well for us as, following the granting of my wish to have a new canine companion join our family, we welcomed a wonderful Goldden Doole puppy named ‘Doodle’ , who also happened to have distemper … To say the last 4 weeks have been difficult is vastly understating the fact, between the terrible health of this poor creature, the demand on our time and energy and the fact my body took this opportunity to bring me in a burnout. Good news is that we hope the bad stuff got taken care off and 2021 will be all smooth sailing from here on. Fingers crossed!
For this year, I plan on continuing my painting of Blood Bowl teams and offer some tutorial as well as games reports. Of course, I ahve several kickstarters on my radar which I will paint and review as time allows, among them Solomon Kane, Zombicide 2, Okko Chronicles, Darkest Dungeon and Hel, the Last Saga. Finally, I am, probably going to delve headfirst into Frostgrave and its sister games (Ghost Archipelago and the upcoming Stargrave) so count on tons of terrain and miniature painting and scenarii reports. Due to their terrain proximity, I may also sidestep into Core Space (and use the terrain for Stargrave) and Blood and Plunder (and use Ghosts Archipelago terrain).
These are the plans for the coming year but of course, they are subject to change due to life and the eventual shiny new toy 🙂 I gave some thought about restarting my Youtube channel, harangued that I am by my kids to do so but, due to the ever present COPPA, may instead start an RPG/Tabletop podcast with some friends.
